Text Box: Options for Excess Yard Waste:

Limits on the amount of yard waste we can pick up per stop is set in order to provide fair  and equitable service to all residents in a timely and efficient manner.
On occasion where you have more than the limit or have items too large for the truck to handle, you may:

     1.   Hold it over until the following week (if it is not too big);
     2.   Take it to the compost area at the Conway landfill (be sure to take ID and your
           most recent Conway Corp. bill in order to drop it off for free ). Loads should
           be tarped to avoid litter.

To Reduce work and waste...
We recommend Mulching Mowers...it can lead to a healthier yard, less waste, and less work!
Backyard composting can be as easy or complex as you like. For more information on this, contact the Cooperative Extension Office
at 329-8344, or contact   arhomeandgarden.org/composting.htm to learn more.
