Our Goal and Purpose

We strive to provide the best, most comprehensive, cost effective, integrated solid waste services to our city residents and businesses; and to provide the means to help them reduce their waste and be environmentally responsible about preserving

our resources.

Cart System:

The City of Conway residents love the easy, convenient, automated system of collection we provide for our trash and our recyclables. One 96-gallon green Trash cart is provided to each home, and the 65-gallon blue recycling carts (which are still being phased in) are delivered upon request at no cost to our recyclers.

All carts issued remain the property of the City of Conway, Sanitation, and should remain with the home should you move. Click on images above for more details.

NOTE: The blue recycling carts are

being phased in; if we are temporarily

out when you order one, your name will

remain on the list and a cart will

automatically be delivered to your house when a new shipment arrives. Should this occur, we appreciate your understanding and  patience!

IN THE MEANTIME, you may place your recyclables at   your curb in any labeled bag or reusable container (please note that a separate collection vehicle will collect the bags, large boxes & excess recyclables).

Click recycling for more details on "how to" recycle as well as how to order a blue recycling cart.

Special Needs:

We gladly provide door service for our residents with special needs. Please call us

at 450-6155 to make arrangements for your trash, recycling and/or yard waste.
